Drop off at a local optometrist or send in, and they’ll refurb your eyeglasses and pass them on to those in need.

A residential service RecycleSmart is all about getting people to recycle more and better. Simply bag your slightly to super worn wearables, schedule a pick-up, bid adieu and they’ll pick your wares up from your front door. From there, they make sure your stuff gets its best second life.

Since hitting the ground running in 2009 Shoes for Planet Earth have provided support for over 93,000 pairs of feet. Drop off your sport shoes at one of their Shoe Collector points located at Healthcare and Athletic specialists and they’ll forward them on to community groups in need.

Once your shoes have run their course, surrender them to a TreadLightly collection box located at participating Sports, Activewear and Footwear retailers. They’ll turn them into recycling crumb (yum!) and new things like playground underlays and retail flooring. Here’s to a step in the right direction!
